On August 31, 2023 the new granite monument with the restored original plaque was installed at the new site, the intersection of National Road, Mt. Wood Road and Pike Street. This new site is directly across from the Mingo statue at the crest of Wheeling Hill. After the landscaping is completed, a dedication event will be held on a date to be determined.
