On August 31, 2023 the new granite monument with the restored original plaque was installed at the new site, the intersection of National Road, Mt. Wood Road and Pike Street. This new location is directly across from the Mingo statue at the crest of Wheeling Hill. Landscaping was completed on September 9, 2023. The dedication was held on October 28, 2023. This project is the chapter’s signature contribution in advance of the 250th anniversary of American Independence.
