2022 Eagle Scout Contest Winner Announced

Congratulations to Eagle Scout Nathan Weekley , Wheeling whose entry in the Arthur M. and Berdena King Eagle Scout Essay Contest was selected as West Virginia’s entry in the 2022 National scholarship competition. He is the second consecutive winner sponsored by the Fort Henry Chapter.

Nathan submitted an application, essay and four-generation genealogy chart.

He will receive a trophy and $100 from the WVSSAR along with an Eagle Scout medal and patch from the Fort Henry Chapter.

The national contest prizes are $10,000 for first place, $6,000 for second place and $4,000 for runner up. Nathan is a son of Gary and Coleen Weekley and is a member of Troop 6, Vance Memorial Presbyterian Church, Wheeling, WV.
