Congratulations to Eagle Scout Ethan Robey of Colliers, Brooke County, whose entry in the Arthur M. and Berdena King Eagle Scout Essay Contest was selected as West Virginia’s entry in the National scholarship competition.
Ethan submitted an application, essay and four-generation genealogy chart.
He will receive a trophy and $100 from the WVSSAR along with an Eagle Scout medal and patch from the Fort Henry Chapter.
The national contest prizes are $10,000 for first place, $6,000 for second place and $4,000 for runner up.
Ethan is the son of Eric and Lori Robey and is a member of Troop 334, Cove United Presbyterian Church, Weirton, WV.
